An AA Grapevine Committee member’s job is to promote AA’s international journal by encouraging group subscriptions, displaying the magazine, making members aware of online/audio options, facilitating story submissions from members, and providing Grapevine literature/items at events to carry the message of recovery, embodying service by linking members to this essential resource. Volunteer to act as your local Grapevine Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Subscriptions: Encourage groups and individuals to subscribe to The AA Grapevine and La Viña (Spanish).
Distribution & Display: Ensure magazines are available at meetings, often with a dedicated display table at events like assemblies and conventions.
Awareness: Inform members about the website, audio resources, books, and other Grapevine materials.
Encourage Contributions: Motivate members to share their experience, strength, and hope by submitting stories, articles, and artwork.
