The Balsam Center (mental health facility) meetings are always open to new volunteers. Wednesday 6PM, Joey says show up 5 minutes early to sign in. Share the AA message with patients inside the facility.

The local CPC/PI Committee for the communities of Franklin, Highlands, Cashiers & Scaly Mountain will be meeting during April to assemble information packets. Volunteers are encouraged to attend work sessions on Thursdays before and/or after the As Bill Sees It noon meeting in Franklin, NC at St Agnes Church

The Sisters in Sobriety Meeting that meets on Tuesdays at 6pm at The Craddock Center will not take place on June 2nd or June 9th due to availability of the facility, returning on June 16th. Please use the meeting finder tool to find other meetings.

The Sunset Promise Meeting will not be meeting at the Craddock Center on June 4th or 11th. The alternate meeting spot will be in downtown Blue Ridge at the Pavilion by Church Street. The meeting will return to Craddock Center on the 18th.

It is almost time to elect new officers and directors for the AA Mountain Intergroup. Please submit nominations for the following positions: – Chair

Nominations must be submitted in writing no later than June 25. Please include the nominee’s length of continuous sobriety in AA and a list of their previous service posts. To ensure fairness, only nominations received by the June 25 deadline will be accepted. The election is scheduled for July 9.
