Corrections Coordinator

An AA District Corrections Coordinator position involves organizing Alcoholics Anonymous volunteers to bring recovery meetings and literature into correctional facilities, facilitating communication between volunteers and prison staff.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate AA Service: Coordinate AA members and groups to deliver the AA message (meetings, literature, pre-release contacts) within jails and prisons.

Liaison: Act as a link between local AA groups and correctional facility staff.

Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and support volunteers (AAs) serving in correctional settings.

Logistics: Ensure compliance with facility rules, manage meeting schedules, and maintain records of volunteer requirements (sobriety, training).
