The District Liaison attends all the Intergroup/Central Office meetings and reports to the district committee what is happening at the Intergroup/Central Office, as well as reports back to Intergroup/Central Office what is happening at the district level. The position acts as a communication bridge between the two AA service organizations. There are two of these positions in District 80; one for North Carolina Mountain Central Office in Asheville and one for AA Mountain Intergroup in Blairsville GA. At NCMCO Asheville, our District Liaison is the District Trustee and a voting member of the NCMCO Board.
Requirements & Responsibilities
Experience at both the District and Intergroup/Central Office level is preferred
Attends all Intergroup/Central Office and District 80 Meetings and provides reports at those meetings
