Treatment Facility Coordinator

An AA District Treatment Facilities Coordinator links AA members with alcoholics in treatment facilities, managing volunteers, building relationships with centers, providing literature/meetings, and ensuring the message of recovery reaches those who need it, often requiring a strong commitment to service to coordinate these efforts within the district.

Core Responsibilities

Liaison & Communication: Serve as the main contact between the district, treatment centers (hospitals, detox, halfway houses), and individual volunteers.

Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and support AA members who carry the message into facilities (speaking, leading meetings, providing literature).

Information & Resources: Ensure facilities have AA literature and schedules for meetings, and keep the district informed of needs.
